I&#8217;ve probably purchased 4 or 5 in the last few years for various cars and I think I get 1.5 &#8211; 2 years each. I would think a battery should be designed to last longer than that. <\/p>\n<p>The battery in the VW died on me last week. As we were in Tucson yesterday, we bought a new one.
