After checking into our hotel we had a nice lunch near the town square.\u00a0 We then departed for La Granja, a small town 20 minutes from Segovia. We took a cab so as to not waste time.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the trip was to visit the king&#8217;s palace. It was rather impressive. We enjoyed touring the palace and the massive gardens behind it.
