Muchacho Polaco

Last Monday was a Mexican holiday so we spent the day at the beach. We really haven’t had much of a winter this year.

Scout used his new toy: the GoPro harness. It’s pretty awesome, but I have a tendency of forgetting to click record on the video before setting him off. Despite the horrible reviews online, it actually does pretty well.

We met up with some of the younger people from our church. They had arrived around 6am in order to do some fishing and were in fact successful in catching what appeared to be some red snapper.

My sepentine belt went out after a pulley bolt went bad. The first indication was when my power steering pump was not working. Then my battery gauge showed the battery was losing charge. Finally the engine temperature went high which prompted me to stop and open the hood.

It’s that time of year again for free oranges. So many and so good.

The plants are coming along quite nicely. I have roughly six tomato plants and six squash plants. It rained here pretty hard the last couple of days so I brought most of them inside. And it seems as though I’m going to have to transplant all of them into larger plants within the next week or so. And then I think I am ready to start some more seeds.

Yun celebrates 36 years of life today. We went to Vizzieto’s for dinner (our favorite Italian place here in town).
