We have received a couple spectacular offers on the house, but today we received one for the full asking price with no additions (no contributions toward closing costs, etc). We accepted the offer and now it is subject to various things such as the appraisal and inspection.
We have mixed feelings about the sale of the house. We put an extraordinary amount of effort and money into it to be exactly how we wanted it. And we have loved living in it, despite it being in an area that is not ideal. Everything was new and modern. The enormous kitchen and beautiful master bath was my favorite. Now we fear we will not have a house like this again and I am not quite ready to take on a task of this magnitude again (hopefully ever).
We also love our house in Mexico. It is twice the size of our house in the US, but even so, it may be short lived because Yun’s brother put an offer on it as he wants to buy it. If that goes through, we will once again have to look for another home. Neither of us our thrilled about this because it’s not easy to find a house that we like.
Even so, we feel blessed by all of the things taking place of late.
