Yun and I headed up to Tucson on Sunday evening to spend a couple days with Matt and Dana and to pick up some treasure. We have a most excellent tradition which we have consistently maintained the last three visits. A tradition of spectacular steak coupled with my legendary fried potatoes. Cigars immediately follow the meal to assist with digestion. I love this tradition!
And once dinner was over, we moved on to our other tradition of Spades. This is a game we’ve been playing for many years and one in which I generally dominate.
And the dogs love the trips north as much as we do. They are able to revisit some favorite places, including the wash behind M&D’s house. He doesn’t seem to get enough.
