Yun and I arrive in Dublin this morning after a fairly lengthy journey. Matt and Dana met us at the airport and then we took a bus through Dublin and on to their apartment. It was surprisingly chilly – but we are, for the most part, prepared for that. Needless to say, the jetlag has been intense. We spent some time today touring parts of Dublin and found it to be a really nice city with lots of things to see and do.
Dana made lasagna for dinner which was quite nice and then Matt and I retreated to endure the climate while smoking cigars with some Jameson whiskey. We have a week to enjoy the city and relax.
We are now about to give the free Spades lessons as promised….
