Muchacho Polaco

Recently Matt and Dana visited us for a trip to Kino Bay. This time we had a much nicer home than the one we stayed at earlier in the year. It was great to be on a beach that we had entirely to ourselves.

The usual customs took place: gargantuan steaks, my amazing fried potatoes, cigars, and far too much wine. Sadly, our time was far too short. Ideally, it would be nice if this were a monthly tradition.

Before the weekend started, we were able to get our jams on at the house.

Yun and I just returned from enjoying a celebratory dinner for Samuel’s cumpleaños. Good times!

On her way to do a blood test which turned out to be pretty painful. We get the results after 5 p.m.

19k is a new record for me. 

We went to the beach on Saturday with a bunch of people from church. It was hot. Real hot. It was all so humid. Which made it more hot. And despite the generous and repetitive applications of sunblock, I still got fried.

Overall, it was still a lot of fun and something we should do more frequently given the beach is only an hour away.

The monsoons have begun and the storms are hitting us hard this week. On Tuesday we lost electricity for roughly four hours in the middle of the night making it unbearable and impossible to sleep.

Playing a new game called Sequence. So good.

And later we moved on to Jenga.
