Muchacho Polaco

Had some soup and them jammed to some Tom Petty and Lumineers. So good.

We had fun at the beach today. The weather was perfect. The water was a bit cold.

Dinner was amazing last night. We had rib eye with potatoes and asparagus. For dessert we had cigars.

Lunch at Bermejo was pretty good, despite the Mexican inability to prepare meats to medium rare.

Since we returned from Vietnam Yun has been making some spectacular Asian dishes. Tonight she made these noodles entirely from ingredients found here in town. That’s exciting because we did not think it would be possible to find everything we needed here. It was so good.

We had a meeting tonight with the youth from our church. And we had invited younger people from another church here in town that we’ve met with before to join us.

It was all very fun and the volleyball was spectacular.

On one of my trips to the dunes a couple times back I must have hit something with my muffler and punctured it. As a consequence, my exhaust has been unusually loud and a little embarrassing. So finally, a couple days ago we took it to a shop so that they could weld a patch for the hole. And now it sounds spectacular. Not bad for roughly $7.

Our neighbors regularly invite us over for food, and often that food is in the form of diskada. I guess that’s a general reference to anything cooked in this pan. Normally it is paella, but this last time was something new. I liked it a lot and now want one for our house so we can make it ourself.
