It amazes me that an ice rink can be made in the desert. Last night we went downtown with some young(er) people from our Church to go ice-skating. Yun and I didn’t ice-skate, because we brought our dogs (and mostly because I didn’t want to embarrass myself). It was a lot of fun. It’s fun to get out of the house and spend time downtown in the evenings.
As always, the dogs drew crowds of people and endless questions from strangers as to how they have been trained. It’s not that our dogs have that much training, but when compared to the dogs here, they’re pretty impressive. I had Scout fetch off the leash amidst hundreds of people, which to my surprise, didn’t end in catastrophe. Actually, quite a few people took his photo. I always enjoy showing them off.
