Since our marriage, we have bought all of cars at auction with the exception of the two we bought in Mexico. Prices are absurd for new and used. I bought this 2017 Mazda 6 for $4500 with 27k miles. A few thousand in repairs and upgrades and I will save roughly $20k. I bought it to replace my 2015 Mazda CX5, which I paid $7k (with repairs) at auction 5 years ago. We are going to list it for sale for $12k and are optimistic given it has 70k miles and would be cheaper than anything in the market now. That covers the price of the Mazda 6 and a good portion of another new car for Yun. This system is working for us.
