Yunuen and I went to a dinner party yesterday in Ventana Canyon and on the way home I saw this monster tarantula crossing the road. I happened to have my camera with me, so I jumped out to take a photo. I was very brave! This is the first tarantula I have seen since moving to Arizona, so it was quite exciting!
Matt came over the other day to help me with my rock pile in the backyard. We have taken four loads now and it seems as though we have merely made a dent in progress. I suspect we have at least 5 more loads to make. We did get a chance to smoke some cigars on Tuesday and I took the opportunity to take a picture of my humidor.
